Toyota launches Mobility Service subscription programme

Toyota’s Mobility Service is a new leasing and subscription programme that has been launched by the carmaker in India. Under this initiative, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) will be partnering with existing in-house brand ‘KINTO’under Toyota Financial Services, ALD Automotive India and SMAS Auto Leasing India Pvt Ltd.

  • The subscription/loan tenures range from 2 to 5 years.
  • It will initially be available in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluruand Mumbai. More cities will bejoining the list.
  • All Toyota models in India, barring the Vellfire, are eligible for the subscription.

What subscription tenures doesToyota offer and on which cars?

Under Toyota’s Mobility Service, the carmaker will give its customers the option to lease or subscribe to a car for three, four or five years on a fixed monthly fee. TKM will also provide shorter tenure options that will range from 24 to 48 months.

All of Toyota’s models available in India, barring the Vellfire, will be eligible for the subscription programme.

Which cities will Toyota offer the Mobility Service programme in?

TKM has currently implemented the new Mobility Service (subscription programme) in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai. However, the carmaker plans to expand this to 10 additional major cities across India within the next year.

What does the monthly subscription fee cover?

The monthly subscription/loan fee is not just for the selected car, it includes the vehicle’s maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance costs. Hence, no added charges are required over the monthly fee.

What does Toyota’s line-up consist of in India?

At present, Toyota’s India line-up consist of the Glanza, Yaris, Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Vellfire. The carmaker is all set to launch the Urban Cruiser – its offering in the compact-SUV segment that is based on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
