· Panamera 4 10 Year Edition now on sale from Rs 1.60 crore
· White gold-finished wheels, Panamera 10 badging and stitching unique to model
· The special edition model gets added equipment as standard
Porsche has launched a celebratory edition of the Panamera, called the Panamera 4 10 Years Edition, in India to celebrate a decade of the model in production. Priced at Rs 1.60 crore (ex-showroom) before options, the special edition is based on the Panamera 4 all-wheel-drive version.
What sets it apart from the standard Panamera?
Compared to the standard Panamera, the special edition gets standard 21-inch alloy wheels finished in white gold and special ‘Panamera10’ badging on the front doors, also finished in the same colour. The door sills too have the unique badging, as does the dashboard trim on the passenger side. Porsche has added white gold contrast stitching in the cabin.
What equipment does it get?
All of Porsche's cars come with a long list of optional equipment that allows buyers to tailor the car as per their choice. The options range from things such as upholstery and trim inserts to the technology in the vehicle.
The Panamera 4 10 Years Edition packs in more standard equipment as compared to the regular Panamera. You get Matrix LED headlamps replete with the company’s Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus system, lane change assist, park assist including a rear-view camera, a panoramic sunroof, soft close doors and a Bose surround sound system. Also included in the package is adaptive air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management system which actively dampens the suspension on each wheel.
What is under the hood?
The special 10 Years Edition is based on the Panamera 4, and it uses the same 330hp/450Nm as the regular car with power channelled to all four wheels. Porsche claims a 0-100kph time of 5.3sec for the Panamera 4 and a top speed of 262kph.
