In the last few months, Bajaj launched the BS6-compliant versions of its most affordable offerings - the CT and Platina models. With the transition to the new emission norms, the commuter bikes witnessed a Rs 6,000-7,000 hike in prices. Since then, the prices of both motorcycles and their variants saw minimal hikes, and now, Bajaj has given the models another increase in price by up to Rs 2,350.
The inflation has made the CT100 nearly Rs 9,400 more expensive than its BS4 model. However, despite the hike, it remains the most affordable motorcycle in our market with a starting price of Rs 42,790.
